Thanks dex. My buddy Ron660 that I built this for ordered the aluminum skidplate for the bottom. Does anyone know of a 3/4 wrap that will fit?
There used to be a full Wrap version available on eBay. I wanted one for my 036, but could never spend the $100 on one. I did buy one of the skid plates. Ended up selling it Pallet Pete. The one downfall to the plate, is it makes the saw want to lean on its side (can you say 346xp..) rather than stand straight up. A small price to pay for protecting the bottom of your saw.
It won't be sitting long....it'll be buried in some Red Oak or some other Quercus species. Great job buddy...looks great. I owe you some smoked deer sausage!
