    I'm not sure if the mods have a policy in place on how to handle certain situations here but before things get out of hand I believe the thread should be temporarily closed (unviewable and non postable) and the parties involved contacted privately to make sure the context of what was said is what it appears to be. Even a mod could understand it in a different way that it was intended. This way everyone involved will be on the same page and nobody will have to be 'spoken' to in a public place (the open forum). Sometimes a mod will enforce something without investigating it further.

    And also keep in mind that the mods/admins are human too.....sometimes we jump to conclusion or out of frustration may say something/agree with/like a post "en haste", and we talk with each other about those things.

    We don't like to rush to judgement neither. .....our patience was pushed WAAAAY beyond the limit recently in regards to a user, they were given several opportunities to change the situation, we discussed it as a group (no one person had a say in it), and a decision was made by majority.

    No moderator or admin is/will ever be able to "gang up" on a person here, you have my word on that. My PM box is always open to all of you and I will be a neutral party that you can talk with in confidentiality. As well as any of the other mods. There is no "good ol' boys club" here, I can assure you of that......

    Well said S.O.
    I have seen to many forums like this whether they be about farwood, antique tractors, motorcycles or guns and hunting go down the slippery slide to becoming nothing more than a bar room brawl. Now I'll say that when I was a younger man I liked nothing better than a good old knock down drag out but those days are gone. The inter web is a great place to exchange ideas and knowledge as long as we are dealing with adults. I don't know what the thing is but it is to bad that those who mod this forum have to deal with it as I am sure they have other things to do with their time. Think twice and type once I say.

    This is a great reminder of why we're here, and why you started this site. So appreciative of the efforts you all have put forth.
    It's not said enough, but I'm sure our gratitude shows through. I hope so at least.

    Glad I don't know what the drama was since I have enough of that crap at work to last me two lifetimes :D

    Scotty, you and all the mods on this site do a great job and I appreciate how hard you all work to keep the site up and friendly to all. I stand behind you guys and appreciate you all being honest and up front with all of us. So glad I don't have your job of running this place and everyone of here should be glad of that also :rofl: :lol:!

    Keep up the great work!

    Good post Scotty. I'm relatively new here, but not new to forums, or to forums of this theme either. Of all the forums I've been a member of over the years, this is by far my favorite. And also the one that seems the most tight knit. It's a great place to be, and I thoroughly enjoy checking the site throughout my day and seeing what everyone is posting. Not a better group of guys/gals or mods on any forum out there I bet ya :thumbs::drunk:

    Edit : I meant to quote you Dex but I forgot too after I typed and dont know how to insert a quote after the fact. I mean I could actually put it in quotes I guess, or type all that stuff out to force the quote...

    Yep we can thats for sure. Its brotherly love. We would get along fine :) I just wont touch your minty saws cause I would be afraid I would trash them. Nothing like pokeing at someones butons every now n then in good fun.

    I was trying to work a joke in about a step stool but couldnt come up with anything good enough so I will spare you that one:emb::zip::whistle:

    And yea were good:banana::banana: :banana:

    Love it here, like home! I grew up with two brothers. Everyone of us had our moments. In the end we still are family.
