    The bar is about 18 . It was marked 17 ,which I found odd . It takes a 64dl, .375 , .050 chain .
Put a Carlton chisel on it .
I'm kind of on the fence on running it . Pretty sure that I won't ,because it's not every day you come across something old
And unused . Going to think about it for a while .:hair:

    Oh,
    it's a collector's antique saw.

I don't know much about saws.
I figured it was a new saw just needing some gas & oil & it would be making wood chips.

Right where I want to be.
    That's just unreal.
So, someone bought the thing, then stuck it in a closet or what?
I bet if you touch it, it squeaks, it's so clean.

That 70cc beast has incredible torque, will pull 28"/full comp no problem.32" if you go skip tooth chain.

I have the previous version of that model - the 7-10 Automatic (same displacement) sold from 1970-75.

Across the road from my house is a sawmill . The owners father used to sell Macs and homelites ,as well a run the mill .
Dean ,the son and current owner has a bunch of mac stuff . Occasionally the mood strikes him to sell a saw or two .
Some how Jan talked him into parting with a saw . Could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw the box !

That's where the temptation comes in . I'd really like to put a 24" B&C on that puppy ,and make some noise and chips .:saw:
