oil plug on a huskee 22 ton

    Anyone know where the plug is located? Briggs engine... 1.5 year old model. About how much oil?

    Under the motor. 3/8 female plug. About .5 quart.

    Just ran out and took a picture. Sorry it kinda sucks, had to climb over equipment in slippers. Use a socket wrench w/o the socket attached, will work best. It's the recessed bolt in picture.

    Raise the splitter up by the tongue until it sets on the foot.
    The plug is easier to get to that way.
    After you get it loose set it back down and drain the oil.

    I used a couple of street elbows, and a short piece of pipe. I put a coupler on the end of the pipe to put the plug back into. Could use a cap, I suppose, but I couldn't find one in my coffee can fill of fittings. It moves it away from the tank, makes it far easier to get out, and is way less messy.
