I lost it over a year ago. I thought for sure it was gone forever, I am beyond thrilled. We were unpacking a box of dishes from moving, and baby girl reached in the box and pulled something out.
My 85 year old friend started losing weight as he started ailing and lost his ring cause his fingers thinned out. I felt so bad for him, not sure what Id do if I lost mine. He never found it.
Glad to hear it WW! Now, if you're not too busy (yeah right) do you think you can help me find some things of mine? black holster for revolver black motorcycle helmet some legal papers trac phone
About a year ago my wife lost her billfold with a couple hundred bucks...all her cards...everything. She thought it fell out of her pocket in a parking lot. I had to switch EVERYTHING to a new account. Total nightmare and PITA. A couple weeks ago, when she was unpacking the kids' Halloween costumes....guess what she found in the tote?
Iam going to lose my job if I don't get at it.I remember after I got married the ring was sized a little to big.while driving home from work had a bee fly in went to get it with my hand ring went out the window.Lucky I found it had it resized now my skin is growing around it like a tree would with a chain around it.
I lost mine this summer while my son and I were swimming in the ocean......huge rogue wave knocked me over and instinctively I held my son above the water with one hand and put the other in the sand for balance. After we washed up on the beach and I finished spitting out sea water I noticed my ring was gone. Luckily my wife saw the whole thing and was just happy we were okay.
Glad you found it ww. My fingers went numb last night while napping on the couch, so took my ring off and put it on the tip of my middle finger......all while half asleep. Woke up at some point and felt something wasn't quite right. Once I figured out what I'd done, I slipped it back on my ring finger. My wife jammed her ring finger a few weeks ago and it swelled up to the point the circulation was being cut off. I ended up using a Dremel on it......it's at the jeweler's right now being resized and fixed. We'll be out $96 when we pick it up. Meanwhile, my wife's been walking around w/o her ring thinking she's single again........
A few years ago the diamond fell out of my mom's wedding ring when she was planting in the flower bed. She wouldn't say how much it bothered her, but it was the year of her and Dad's 35th anniversary and I could tell she was pretty worked up but thought it was a lost cause to try to find it since the bed it was lost in was 3ft X 25ft and had just been worked about 5" deep with a tiller. So I went over to her house after work and convinced her to help me sift through 3/4 of the bed before it got dark. She went at it again the next day by herself and found it at the very last edge of the bed. It was a miracle that it turned back up!
That's funny MISHMH. I've been thinking the same thing, but we (I) jump the tracks and skip those details sometimes. I'm betting the ring was loose or got snagged on something while the box was being packed. She went on to the next, and the next, etc., until it was dang near impossible to say where it may have come off. wildwest, am I close?
My best guess is..... Like others, it doesnt fit alot of the time, so I used to put it a glass sugar cup in my old kitchen. My husband ended up packing the house by himself.... Otherwise I have no idea
My husband has lost 2 wedding rings. One on the 79 blazer and one on the 81 blazer. When he worked on them he would take it off before unhooking the battery and set it on the front of the engine where the hood locks in. Both times after a job well done, he shut the hood and took them on test drives, leaving his ring loose in there
