Issue Logging In

Today I noticed that I am no longer logged in. I tried unsuccessfully to login with a couple of different passwords that I use. No luck. Then requested for a email reply to reset the password, but it never came. I then created a new account; the old account is/was Macpolski. I would like to keep Macpolski. Help.

    Thank you in advance.

I have to log in twice, every time. I log in. It says tfdchief is logged in, then I click on Alerts, and it says I have to be logged in to do that.

tfdchief Spock Xenforo techs say you need to hit crtl+f5 next time you experience the issue to do a "hard refresh."

Try ctrl f5 and rebooting your computer. Let me know if that works. So far all the advice from our forum's support team doesnt seem to be working but i cant ask for anything further until someone experiencing the problem tries these fixes.

So I have these issues when I initially log in and then try to look at my alerts or click on a pic that someone posted, it makes me log in again
I just logged out and logged back in, and tried to view a pic, would not let me, tried the ctrl F5 nothing happened, still made me log in again
once I log in for that second time everything is fine till I log back out. Have not rebooted my computer

Just for info, this happens on both my work computer and home computer. Yes, I check FHC at work. :)

I just spoke further with the tech at Xenforo-- he says that we have done everything that we can to resolve this issue and that it is not something wrong with the site, but is somehow tied to your guy's devices. The only ideas he has left are they maybe you guys are refusing cookies or having some sort of unknown browser issue.

Have you guys tried selecting "Stay logged in"?

When your done? You just select your user name in the upper right? And select Logged Off.

Maybe it would be easier to select that box and then log off when done?

I select "Stay logged in". But I am on here frequently, and mainly through one device.

    Yep, that fixed it
I have to check the stay logged in box when I sign in and everything works fine
Tried it again without checking the stay logged in box and had the log out issues again
So I guess that is the answer, never had to do it in the past until this new server upgrade though, but no big deal

Grizzly Adam Well then I have five devices that are at fault after the upgrade. Home pc, work pc, iphone, ipad and a Nook HD. The iphone wasn't used until yesterday. Just weird is all I am saying.

DexterDay 's solution works so I will use that on the devices I use the most.

I just have 2 computers, 1 tablet and my phone and they are always logged in all the time. Any reason to log out?

I might if others might use the device. In our house we all have our own, But have heard issues(other forums) were room mates or friends have logged on to others accounts and played some tricks/jokes. Posted graphic images that got them in hot water.
