Needle In A Haystack !!!

Well almost , eye glasses in the leaves
Had the leaf blower strapped on blowing leaves ,there was a bug flying by my face ,I swatted at it and knocked my glasses off , ,starting to get dark ,oh chit
Somewhere in here are my glasses, so ,I am moving leaves a hand full at a time cussing up a storm

Almost all the way dark ,with a headlight and flashlight ,after about 40 minutes they sparkled real good and I found em

 

That's exactly why I refuse to rake leaves.

 

I usually end up bending the nose piece all to heck when swatting at bugs.
No leaf raking this year, although I may soon.
HDR, I've wondered about this for quite a while......don't the leaves just blow back in a good wind?

 

On the east side, where I blow most of them to, not a chance , on the west side, I blow em past some of the under brush and saplings and they stay there real good , I still have to rake and pick up some

Every once and a while we still chuckle WITH my mom. One day, a long, long time ago, she looked and looked for her glasses. She asked all of us. We couldn't find them. Then, finally, someone realized and said, "Do you mean the ones on top of your head?"

 

That's funny I had that happen, I couldn't find my sun glasses anywhere , I went in the bathroom , saw them in the mirror

 

Chop those suckers up with the mower! It's good for your lawn, and way less work!

 

I do that too , that is part of the process but I can't do em all like that there are too many

I only have three quarters of an acre but trees all the way around.
Green Acres is the place to be, leaves spreading out so far n wide
Who remembers that?

 

I read that and thought you meant chop the glasses up....that's probably what I would have done after about 15 minutes.

 

I was so pi**ed off, but I need my eye balls

I can drive without glasses but I can't see how much gas I put it in the saw or holey chit!! read the forum without them

 

I'm the same, reading glasses for any work under 3'.
I have them laying around everywhere.

 

yes I have others but they kinda suck

 

Don't feel bad. I am walking around like I have a fish bowl on my head. Had the eye surgery on the left eye and the vision is back to about 98% normal. Waiting for the right eye to be done, hence this BIG difference which, at times, is totally weird. Was supposed to be done a week ago but cancelled by the surgeon due to a death in his family. Now sitting waiting for a rescheduled date.

 

Having a hard time reading this post with out my hearing aid,wait i mean my glasses now i can't remember what i was doing.getting old sucks.have to go pee now. Bye bye
