A cord of oak is around 5,000 pounds, so about 4/5 of a cord. So $125 for almost a cord of oak/locust. Not sure if that's split or just bucked?

At the price HD got, that comes out to 120 bucks for a full cord of split, dry wood. Seems like a better deal to me...

It is a 5yrd dump, I guessed it was a 2 ton, seems small to me now......so Im guessing a cord-ish
He has dumped other wood in my driveway before, CSS I get a cord or so
Log size is variable 2'-6' long
It is my arborist, dont know if he would drive to Grand Blanc, ill ask. I usually get wood that he cuts close to me if he has enough for 2 trips for free. He drops one off to save him time.

But as I said I dont buy wood, if he isnt dropping it off for free, Im scrounging it, too much good stuff nearby for free.

I have gotten 8 cord over the last 3 years. I also take wood chips off his hands, he doesn't have to pay to dump them, and I get them for landscaping. Are they as pretty as store bought? Nope, but a hell of a lot cheaper.

This is how I Unload splits from the trailer , tilt bed, and use the pickaroon ,I left the back gate on cuz I didn't want the splits falling on the ground ,I have to sort out the long ones to recut.
