bought a truck

Bought a 92 chevy half ton with 350 automatic and 8 foot bed....good price from a friend. ..gonna get helper springs...not a beauty but will haul wood.

 

You know we need pics

 

It'll be in my hands in about a week...from my hometown about 2 hours away...picking it up 2 saturdays from now....gotta insure it and get plates first

I'm a beater guy by nature, easier to "work" with as the dents don't bother me much.

 

Sounds like it should work OK. I hauled almost 1,000 of scrap steel to the salvage yard yesterday with my lowered short box Ram… I've hauled many one ton loads of pellets home from my dealer over the past four years… does OK.

 

I was using my friends 94 chevy 3500 with a dump box....he does tree work and I take the rounds...now I'm independent. ..

Not too pretty, but I'm really happy with it. Drives well and engine is strong.

Here's one load...truck sagging low...need some helper springs. I'm going to get a couple more loads of this maple as emergency wood depending on Vortex conditions this winter...if I don't need it, great.

I have around 4+ cords of maple, red oak, and ash that's ready to go. I am about 3.5 cord consumption a year on average. I can't tell how much this is...maybe a face cord +
