File style bar dresser's

    Anybody use them? I am not looking to bring bars back from the dead just maintain bars I see oregon, Stihl and a few others make them any opinions on any of them?

    If you get one let us know what you think of it. I normally free hand it but i got my 395 used and its bar was pretty bad so I just paid the 5 bucks and had it machined.

    They work fine, although a file does a great job too...

    They work good, I have the blue one from baileys and a stihl one. I use the blue one more

    They make it easy to de-burr a bar without a vise. I have one with quite a few miles on it. Probably should order up a replacement file soon.

    We have a special grinder at the shop that works well. I've also used my sander table. 9" disk on it.

    They get sent to the lawn power shop for $3 around me. $3 last time anyways over a year ago.
