Beautiful day outside here. I am on my first break already. Yes, I like to take my time when working like this. LOFL. I have worked for one hour so far moving and stacking some more wood. I am going to move and stack most of the morning and then have a bite to eat and then go down to the camp and cut that Maple up I took down. Then clean that up. We will see how long all of this takes. Suppose to go to 59 degrees today! Holy chit!

So I have moved one whole row so far. 15 minute break for a can of sugar (Pepsi = caffeine and sugar combined with other stuff and into one nectar of the gods). Time to go back to work.

Raining like a SOB here. Temp supposed to fall off a cliff later this evening high of 60, low of 30 tonight. Going to need a fire tonight.

Weekend can't get here fast enough. Taking Friday off to put in a new breaker box during the day. If all goes well I'll cook some steaks over the washing machine fire pit that evening.

Picking up some lumber for my wood shed Saturday. Will probably take my oldest boys out and shoot some tree rats that morning too.

Every day is a day off! Don't know how I would ever go back to a time card. I do an occasional few hours per diem but I do it from home on my PC, Just a few hours a month.

Got the boat at shop getting some cracked welds fixed.
    able to find the floor.
There's like 20 summer /fall project remnants laying here & there.
Time to put stuff away, find the missing tools , general cleaning & make room for the PU.

Woke up this morning and got the wifely unit off to work. Looked out the window and this is what I saw.

Only one thing to do what you see that and blue sky and sunshine. ..and it doesn't have a lot to do with woodpiles.

I went south down to a place called the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret Connecticut and had the Chili.

Ugh today was quite a day...... Did nothing but deal with incompetent people at work who had every excuse under the sun why they had not gotten their job done. Ended up taking it way over my head since its now effecting my project schedule then had to have a meeting with everyone and referee all the finger pointing. I was kind of like trying to cut a lit fuse on a stick of dynamite. Sometimes I wonder why people won't just do their darn job and meet the dead lines they were given. I was finally able to pull the schedule back in but I should never have had to even worry about it in the first place since it wasn't my group to begin with.
