I got done closing in the ends of the woodshed.Dark has set in so I couldn't pull the new splitter out to try it out.So I looked at the splitter walked over to my chemical cabinet and what do I see? A nice bottle of car wax.So what better than to put a coat of wax on her before her first outing tomorrow after work:D
Now my justification is to say it will be a preventative maintenance step.;)
    This is normal behavior....right?:loco:

    For justification purposes:

My dad was a Golf Course superintendent. Winter time rolled around and we washed and waxed every piece of equipment. His used equipment always had a buyer before he would sell it. I now wash and wax all of my trucks, plows and equipment. It does make a difference in longevity.

Totally normal. It's a pride in something new thing. I told the wife I was going to keep my new Holland in the shed but then when I got it it went right in the garage. First and only new thing like that I've ever bought

What's wrong with that. I mean it's not like I want to marry mine. Can't find anyone to do the service anyways.
