Well its not really ready, but it lives. Got an issue with the exhaust and can't quite get the seal perfect so I will have to take it back out and work on the seal and block off plate. The stoves exhaust is higher than my last stove because the clean out is built into the stove and it is hitting the block off tin and tilting the adapter just enough to leak at start up. Worked on it tonight and its better but not perfect. I fired it up on Sunday but realized there was a leak so shut her down. The fire was not very big, it ran for 15 minutes or so , made me a little nervous. I remembered that the pellets I through in the hopper were from the cabinet in the house and they had been there all summer and were probably damp from all humidity. I vacuumed them out and put in a fresh bag of sets. Tonight after some adjustment to the vent and plate we fired it up again and again the flame looked small. My son accidently shut it down with the remote t-stat. I turned it back on with the remote and we went into the basement to do a little electric wok and when we came back up she had relit and was cranking out the heat !!!! I think the old pellets were holding her back and once the sets got into the burnpot all was well. I know, I know no pics. But they are coming once I take her back out and seal the adapter a little better and it cools down so I can get a little burn time I'll take more pics and post. urrrgh. Sealed adapter with silicone and metal tape. Thought I was good. Fired it up this morning to check operations and smelled wood smoke again. Pulled stove back out and found flange on blower below the clean out broken. Stopped by the stove shop today and he will hook me up with a new blower. Sealed it up for now, seems Ok. Just to busy with house , family and wedding here next week. I'll deal with it later. I will say this thing cranks out some heat when it does run and I think I will save some pellets with the thermostat. Oh and here are some pics.
Nice install Schoon! Great stove and sounds like you have a great dealer as well! You may have wanted a black stove, but you must admit that enamel looks very nice Congrats! !
