40°, & rain. Probably making the trail to the cutting area a muddy mess. Weather to improve around noon Monday, Will head over & try to fell/limb & prep some trees for skidding out Tuesday. By then I'm hoping it'll dry the road & trail up some.
It sure was. Rained here also and got a little break this afternoon so I cleaned up some leaves with the boys
Weather wasn't too much better here Dave. Never got above 50°F with rain. Clearing up now. Hope things dry up for you by the time you cut. Cut safe- leaves are slippery. Take
It sure does. What is the forecast for the next few days? I'm looking for a wet week coming up. Rain or shine I'll find something to do. I was sharping my chains with my dremel while the rain was coming down this morning..I'm glad it stopped for a bit because the lil ones were going nuts inside and driving my wife crazy
My signature has a link to my local weather forecast. "My weather" Been tinkering all day. Got several things off the list & have an empty stove. Looks like wood chips: but it's birch tree seeds, drifted like snow in front of the shop door , during the wind 2 days ago. Still raining
That's priceless for real. I gotta get me some of them pink chairs though, so I can find them on the north wind blows
Was not fun working in. I had the shop stove "chooching" pretty doog so I could go warm up every once in a while. Almost went home to dig out my salamder heater to put by the processor! Wasn't so much cold temp wise, but the rain chewed right into my bones and felt like it was -5*!
The other day it rained and they froze. I about ate it when walking to the truck, driveway was like a mirror! Roads were bad too, they were sandinding in full force.
Rained most of the night. Seems to be getting a little lighter & I see some breaks in the clouds 36°, still liquid water here.
