Widowmaker..............

    came down in our last wind gust (nothing big, 35 mph) in pic 0157 you can see 1 >>>> at the bottom, that cut loose from pic 0158.

    The widowmaker is Basswood but in pic 0157 you can see <<<<< 2 is a nice size Birch, Yellow I hope.

    We also have a Maple that the Basswood took down with some Ironwood and some Cherry I worked on last year.

    Looks like a mess. Sounds like you'll get some good wood out of it though. Be careful bringing everything down :thumbs:

    You have to be a pro at taking down widow makers. Seems like at least half of everthing you cut has been hung up somewhere. Hope it continues to go well for you.
