So I had some free time and figured I would go check a city brush/chipping site today. Pulled in and most everything was small twigs. I did grab two small limbs 6" diameter by 5' to 8' length. No idea what they are. I did notice the golf course across the road had some very nice looking rounds (elm). I called and nobody could say yay or nay. I dropped off my rotted silver maple and figured I would stop at my parents on the way home. Another city brush site is out that way and I already had an 18' trailer with almost nothing on it so why not? As I pull in I notice another scrounger leaving with what appears to be elm. Great I think. Already been picked clean. I noticed a pile of oak, then some mullberry an some honey locust to boot.
Id like to see if there's a wood dump around me. Chances are there is. Nice find no matter large or small.
The mulberry is actually cherry. My nose and further research say so. That and the fact it is now posted on the internet so it must be true!
