GCI60 Ignitor Replacement (Bonus Agitator Replacement)

I’ll try and make this quick! The aftermarket board didn’t work. I would get a few blinks on the control board, then the agitator would just spin every few seconds; never initiated the ignition cycle. So I put the OEM board back in…absolutely nothing. No lights, no movement. Uh oh…. Back in with the aftermarket unit. At least that would blink a few lights and the agitator was doing it’s thing. So we had signs of life!

Stove and Grill Parts for Less has fantastic customer service! I went back and forth with their tech support who was super responsive to e-mails. I did a bit more testing and we determined the board was faulty. Their recommendation was to order a new OEM board. They sent me a return label to return the other board so they can test it.

When ordering the new board, I pinged them via e-mail to see if they had any discount codes. This was Friday, around 4:40PM. They called me! The tech I was working with was able to get me 10% off by entering my info on his end. Awesome!

I can’t say enough about their customer service! I’ll update this thread once the new board is delivered and installed. On a positive note, I can get these boards removed and installed rather quickly now. ; )
