I was at my Stihl/Husqvarna Dealer this afternoon grabbing some parts. They had a 564XP in stock, so I held it, that's a really nice feeling saw!

They didn't have prices on any of their new saws, just their used ones. I'm not in the market for a new saw right now so I didn't bother to ask. I'll ask the next time I stop by though.

I’ve never owned a Husky, always been a Stihl guy, recently added a few Echo saws. I’d be up for trying one.

Same here, though no Echos owned or used. I've come close to buying an Echo 4910 as it has a cult following.

It's been a minute since I've been on the forum. Despite some of the initial growing pains (filter and hot start issue), I ordered a 564XP two days ago from HL Supply. Surprisingly, they had them in stock and and I opted for the 5 year warranty. They were one of the only places I could find that had them in stock. Acme Tools has them in stock but their online store doesn't allow for the warranty extension. It also comes with new Husqvarna software that is supposed to help the hot start issue. I'm thinking the solution is a richer mapping.

Semi local to me Home Depot still has at least one. I think they are getting pretty scarce now and the new model is taking over. Be sure to get the A2 designs filter upgrade.

So, has anyone bought and done an amount of cutting with the 564 yet ??
Wondering if the have the small Husky mount or the double 0 nine bar mount size .
How well does it cut with a 28" bar ?
How thirsty is it ? Ect .
I'm very close to buying a 620 DW Echo for my next saw . 7 Bengys are easier to convince my business partner (wife) on than 10 dead presidents . A boiler wood customer got one on my reccomendation . I was the first person to start it and cut with it . I was very pleased . The only thing I dont like is no heated handle and carb . I think a 572XPGW AND an Echo 620DW are in my future

I'm surprised this thread died without many jumping in... My spidey sense must have drawn me back here for a reason... Since Brad hasn't jumped, perhaps I'll have to do it... again... like with the 500i... LOL Brad, we'll get a better deal on 2. Just like last time...

There'd be a great disturbance in the force if I bought a Husqvarna!

Have you seen any for sale up there?

I just shot my guy a text to see what he'll sell one for. He always treats me well but on Husky, better than Stihl since the margin is bigger... I was thinking I could use my 20" light bar from the 500i on it with an adapter so I would buy the power head only. Then the 500 would be relegated to 28" duty only.

I just heard back. It's after hours when he's not in the shop but he said likely $1100 and he'll get back to me in the AM. I'm hoping it's better than that. I think there is more room based on past deals.

Make sure it has the latest firmware. I think the last patch cured a lot of the early issues from what I've read.

When I talked to Stahls about one a while ago they were in the same ballpark price wise. Was ordering some parts for my 372XP and I asked if they had any in stock. He said it would be Christmas time before they go the next one. He said they've been received very well so far.

My guy said he has two coming in next week. None there currently but said he's already sold about 20 of them and also noted that they are very well received with great power to weight ratio. Since he has 2 coming in, I think Brad needs to step up and help me out with the "discount on 2" offer I will make... LOL
