Reviews good/bad? I don’t need a massive splitter as I’m likely to split just a couple cords per year for the fire place and solo stove fire pit.

My coworker has one he got at Home Depot 5-6 years ago. He burns about 4 cords a year and the only time he had any issues was when he didn’t run it for an entire year and the gas went stale. Other than that it’s been dead reliable for him.

    I had a 23 ton for quite a few years...no issues.
Have had a couple 25 (27?) tons for a bit too...sold one to my buddy, he said it's been great!
Have a Champion genny too...runs like a sewing machine. I bought it used, with known issues...Champion sent me parts to fix it, for free...they said they knew it was still under warranty by the vin #.
They have a very good tech line service, no matter if it's still under warranty, or not.

Ive heard good things about them on here. Supposedly the fastest cycling time among generic splitters on the market.

You have to pay attention to that though too...some Champion models have 2 different specs...the model/spec that is like $100 more (new) has a larger pump and therefore faster cycle time.

Is that true across the board for the different tonnages?
