That's a really sad ending, and a shame. She looked like she was in good shape (before). What a loss for the owner!

Not hogwash. His flight was delayed 3 times, no wonder they don't take reservations at our airport. Only had to wait 10+ minutes for on demand Uber. We got to bed around 2 lol. Figuring out how to order was hilarious, how many of us did it take to learn/order on the Uber app? Kiddo with both my phone and hers, and me on the PC

Great day weather wise but spent much of it watching Indiana causing cardiac issues for a second week. Deer are in the rut , and i am waiting for corn harvest so i can ambush some.

Still going through my motorcycle 12,000 mile maintenance. Oil change tomorrow and a good cleanup.

Also celebrated one of may famous CSS helpers, Richelle , who graduated Air Force basic training. She is taking a bight of the world. Has a Masters in Engineering and working for a DC Defense company. Has intension to be a Reserve officer on3 day but said she wanted respect of enlisted under her charge.

Well, fired up the stove for the first time this year.

Not that it has been particularly cold, but I got tired of hearing the fuel oil furnace.

    And so it begins. :fire:

I haven't even turned our fuel oil furnace on to see if it works. I suppose I should, but the price!

Got the new goat barn relocated today. Feels like I spent $100 in fuel for a freebie but oh well.

Not sure where the rest of the day went, but it went fast.

I thought there was a thread last year or year before for woolly bear caterpillars? Search function wouldn't pull it up no matter what words I used. So I'll post it here.

Finally got both parents home from hospitals. Had to take care of dad’s carving club show yesterday. He rented a table to sell his stuff. Glad he was able to get there today, my one sister took him.

While he’s there and I’m with mom, I decided to get them some wood stacked on the porch.

Then came that low sulphur BS Diesel that was mandated. All downhill after that. Cats in diesel exhaust, DEF, all that emissions crap. Fun

It was over $6 a gallon and I had to buy some for my diesel heater for my camper. I could run off road diesel but can't find it anywhere close thought to bother.

A couple of eagles just now on the monopole behind our house. Screenshot_20261025-161347.png

I've seen and heard eagles the last couple of years while working outside. They only used to be way up northern Wisconsin and kinda rare. Now they are all over up north and getting more established down in southern Wisconsin.

We were in Door county last weekend for the packers cowboys game on Sunday night, and there was an eagle feeding on roadkill in the middle of the road. I thought it was a dog at first. Then it flew away. So, not a dog. Lol

Good morning everyone. Very productive weekend with the perfect fall weather. Framed this porch roof for a good friend Saturday and then washed and waxed the Super Duty yesterday. It was long overdue. Screenshot_20261026_074853_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20261026_075134_Gallery.jpg
