    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel said it was 42⁰ when I left for work this morning. Another 6AM-6PM shift of cooking dirt. Our grandson, Riley, came for a visit, decided he wanted a sleepover, as he calls it. Woodyard was safe...I enjoyed spending time with him. He likes our treadmill IMG_20261023_172746.jpg

    Morning all. Dark, windy and wet outside. We have a Pacific storm moving over the island today. Hopefully it will be gone by night.
    It has been a busy week as I was working a couple of days.

    Well, Mrs MikeInMa's plans got canceled. So, we had the unimpressive but tasty steamed hot dogs. No rolls, so rye bread with mustard, green relish, and onions got it done. Some coleslaw and air fryer tots, rounded things out.

    Good morning. We host a big party this afternoon for my parents, a couple of my sibling fall birthdays and our in-laws from Brazil. I am going to be putting some beef in the crockpot, and my wife is doing the other fixings.

    We had a busy Saturday…straightening up a few things in my wife’s work office, shopping for the party, watching the Gophers football team win and get Floyd the Pig back from Iowa, and a Halloween event with the grandkids in the evening.

    My planets must have been aligned as I got 8hrs of sleep. Rare these days.

    We had our 1st overnight fire. 8+ hours of ash. Lots of coals for easy relight.

    I finished loading 4 totes yesterday. I didn't do it all yesterday, just finished. I does bother me that I simply can't do much so I start doing a job and work until the pain stops me. After a while, if I can, I'll go back at it but only a very short time. I hate it, but have to do what I can. If I didn't have some of the tools that I have, I would have a much worse problem. Especially the tractor. It really is a big help but the ride is not too great. Maybe some new shocks would help? :whistle:
