I never thought about as much about the lift; for me the height of La852 loader was more important can it reach 2nd story of barn to load stuff into loft..

TJV had the opportunity to use a tractor then order one way he wanted .. I wish I knew what options I wanted when I financed … no SSQA :headbang:

I wish my tractor had about 12" more reach but you have to go to a substantially bigger machine to have 10' of reach.

Canadian border VT you can purchase ssqa conversion kits that pin right on. You would need to buy a ssqa bucket or have an adapter welded on to your existing bucket. You could prob do it for less than $2K. I've had a pin on bucket before and the step up to SSQA is so worth it.

my real problem is a very good friend has 75hp JD 3/4 mile down road. Right now it’s faster & easier to go grab JD with cab.
    Real problems I have

Yeah, yeah, I know it's the 'other' orange tractor.

Working on clearing up part of the back lot in order to put up a temp shed for the tractor (finally), so moved a pile of rocks for the umpteenth time (I swear they will get used in a future project...someday). Waiting on the driveway fabric and a dump load of gravel. Trying to get this done before the snow flies (as well as a million other projects).

I'm 'in a tizzy' lately and am not going to get it all done before the weather turns either. I never got enough good weather this summer to get it all done. We basically had a hot 6 month Spring here and now back to fall, which means in 2-3 weeks the rain will start again until cold enough for snow.

This doesn't fall into the realm of 'sexy' tractor work, but putting it to work nonetheless. Too busted up at this point to carry the A/C units down the steps to the garage so worked smarter, not harder. Maxed-out, I can just get the forks onto the deck. One more pre-winter project done.

Local deer club gets us to mow fields, trails and ROW's on their property. We went over last week, worked 10.8 hrs over 2 days to get everything done.

It has been very dry here, so with the water level down, they wanted the bank cleaned up below the camp

I bet you were ready to climb off after that, I know I would be! The merit of your canopy shows well here.

    I wasn't too stiff when I got off...lol...
Took a couple short eater and cheese breaks. Canopy helps keep some of the small limbs and trash from falling on me.

I was noting the shade it was providing. You look shaded in all the pics. I got enough low clearnace situations that I keep my ROPS folded. A canopy would be very nice for the bush hogging that I do. A cab even better but there's no way the glass would survive my woods adventures.

Exact same here. I would love to have some protection from the elements but I would have to repair/replace it in the first hour of use. I'm seriously considering just deleting my ROPS because I snag it on so many branches.

I try to keep things trimmed up on the trails, sometimes it's just tight squeezes between something and a leaner tree \ where I can fit the one side under, so long as the bar is down. I do sometimes venture off of the trails and that's where glass would be a liability for me. Also, how am I supposed to pry my azz out of a seat to do anything when there's air conditioning in the cab?? :dennis:

All brush hogging that has to be done is done BUT I could do an additional 4 hours on secondary areas trails and wet area that are only done in spring or drought times. Then again that 4 hours would turn into 4 days dropping trees etc I could see then done.

Spread a dump load of gravel in preparation for the tractor shed. Driveway cloth was only used where the shed is going. Been a few years since I had gravel delivered...price per load has gone up a lot.
