Got rid of the temporary intake. Was going to go back to a oem ford but after seeing the prices on ebay and no junkyards around me having 7.3 trucks, I spent about the same and got a cold air intake. Installed that today. Looked more intimidating than it was install only took about 20 minutes. Already sounds better, hopefully it breathes better too and if it bumps up mpg thatd be great too.

Im not the biggest fan of selling wood, but ahe needs tires right now, so im letting 2 cords go to pay for them. As much as I love less rim/more tore, im going woth a set of 20s for now for the availability of tires near me. 16s are getting hard to find and expensive. Ill polish these old stocks and hold on to them.

Well today backfired. Definitely was a Monday. I bought the rims and tires near me on marketplace, drop the truck off at the tire shop to have them mounted, and notice im leaving a trail of diesel, like a fuel line blew. So I walk home (just across the road from me) hook up my other truck to make a cord delivery. Got this unloaded stacked at the customers place. Went back up to the tire shop and saw my truck back on my original rims. I guess 8x6.5 rims arent all the sams, they fit the front of my truck but not the rear, the center hole was smaller than my hubs. I messaged the guy i bought them from and explained what happened and asked if he'd be willing to do a partial refund and he ended up just taking them back in fill which was way nice of him. I still have to deliver 1 more cord to this same buyer and that'll be the last of wood sales for now. Hoping the diesel isnt a major fix, and after all this running around I still need tires.
