    Hello
Has anyone tried this Black Weld-On Pipe Repair Tape from Home Depot on a kitchen sink drain leak?
In this case it leaks mostly when the dish washer finishes up and dumps the water in. The leak is just above the P-Trap.
The tape goes on really quick and easy and you just wrap it and pull to stretch it a bit and it stays on even though the backing is not sticky. So it does not have to dry before using the sink again. :)

I am not a plumber; never used it tape
Looks to me like double sink into single drain
Those p traps are slip and the force of dishwasher discharging even though smaller line is causing back pressure and over flow while draining

    if it works great..
If not a rope like piece of plumber puddy is next step

    brenndatomu and metalcuttr like this.

I just got all the PVC and schedule 40 parts to replace the cast iron and metal to fix it properly, just have to get time for it. However in the mean time the bucket is dry. No leak
