Couple tanks through the 2511. Love this little saw. Cut fresh black locust last week and dead sugar maple this week. I know its a limbing saw but ideal for cut smalls in tangled areas.

Tried the 620 briefly and it will get sold. Wishing it had a 20" bar. May list it in the classifieds here. VERY LOW hours.

I will be getting the 4910 soon. Rain day road trip as its 45 minutes one way.

As much as I hate to admit it you're probably right. I have been doing some looking into it though.

It's easy Brad. Contact Kevin and get on the list. You'll be hooked once you do.

The CS2511 is on my wishlist! The CS-620P is my go to saw. I would like to try a MS400.x and a fuelie 564. Their prices make them hard to rationalize over another Echo, though. I am curious to see if you keep the 620.

The 24" bar on my 620 takes 81dl not 84dl like other 24" bars.

You won't run/need all those saws once you get a few ported.

Looking at my sig line Kevin, which saws would you port? All of them is not an option for an answer.

I have a good idea already.

You’re not cheap, you are an askhole. You ask for advice, people who genuinely want to help you give it freely based on their experience. You do exactly the opposite, that is the definition of an askhole.

Sell the 241 for double what you paid for it, snag a red or orange 543xp and have Kevin port that. Then once you finally see the light, sell every saw you have in the 50cc class and snag a 346 convertible variant red or orange and have Kevin port it. Lastly, sell the remaining saws you own and get a 500i and get it ported by Kevin.

You won’t do it, but what I posted is THE 3 saw plan…

Then why do you own so many saws? :)

Because I can afford them… If you look really closely you will see that 7 of them are ported, like I said askhole.

If Kevin, Doc, and Greg were waiting on saws to port, all of mine would be ported, alas, they have ton’s of customers lining up for their saws so I wait my turn and get them done when I can.

As to why I don’t own a 500i? Some people told me that Kevin’s 7900 recipe is right with his 500i for a fraction of the up front saw cost. I snagged a nib 7900 Makita full rap for $975 shipped on the ZON, with Kevin’s porting fee it was still a couple hundred dollars less than a new 500i not ported.

I had a 353 Kevin ported up as a NE 346, Greg just happened to have a redhead version that was in nicer shape that he made me a deal on, so I sold it to a forum member, snagged the beauty redhead from Greg, and am now in line for another XS 346.

Here’s the part that will really blow your mind, Kevin, Doc, Greg, and a host of others share so much stuff with us gen pop saw users for free. They don’t have to, but they choose to because of their nature. I choose to try to support the forum porters that help everyone fix their saws without asking you to send it to them for monetary gain, truth is they are too busy porting saws most times to just repair saws, just food for thought.

Brad, looking at your list, I would keep 4 saws to port...

    XS500
    XS400...have Kevin mod the oiler
    XS2511T
    XS4910 when you get it

You would only buy 1 saw.
