P1010454.JPG P1010453.JPG Hello to everyone.I have a 2 year old Harman p68 which I moved from my old house to the new one.the installers came yesterday to install the chimney liner and hook up the stove. After they left I looked up at the block off plate and saw these large gaps.I would think a lot of heat would be lost up the chimney with those gaps. What do you guys think?

Terrible, IMO. I'd be asking for them to return and do a professional job.

That is indeed unfortunate. You have them on notice now. I hope it wasn't the boss who did the install. I had a very sloppy install done by the folks who put in my Napoleon. You are smart to have followed up on it.
    We Harman owners have "issues".
By the way, what brands are you planning to burn this season?

Decent pellet. I have 3 tons myself. What did you pay? They're $239/ton up here.

239.00 plus 65.00 for delivery. I guess if I didn't haul them myself I'm not a pellet pig.I did stack them myself.

If you have a large load delivered you qualify unless someone has changed the rules.

But you do need to face the nearest pellet pig, bow really low and answer the following two questions: You see an elderly lady looking at the last ton of pellets in your area, what do you do? What is that beer doing in the fridge instead of being used to quench your thirst after stacking those pellets?

You have my vote some others are likely to say that you should have knocked her over as you make off with the last ton of pellets.

I could also strangle her with an extension cord but I didn't want to offend anyone.

5 tons of pellets and 15 gallons of beer works for me. Only one person might have more than 15 gallons of beer in his stash, and that's will. :drunk:

About that 15 gallon thing I'll likely exceed that shortly just on the beer side. I did the first racking on the mead last Thursday and will be starting a 6 gallon batch of beer tomorrow. I have 12 gallons of wine already in storage and the mead I racked is a 7 gallon batch. The boss and I are going up to Cornish shortly to partake of some apple cider and likely some seafood. The brewery is back in operation here and will be going on two fermenters shortly.
