Feeling blessed by a wise father, been a reasonably good day; people have questioned why a master bedroom door to a private deck… Well it’s 49° out and the windows are cracked for fresh air.. Then my beautiful bride has a hot flash! She goes out on her deck for 10 minutes and we get to keep the most the heat in the house!!

Thanks Dad (yes he passed 2 years ago) for giving me guidance and helpful hints

Coolest start in a while. 48⁰/63⁰ breezy

The big storm will be a multi day event. We're already getting gusty winds. 1st rain is Saturday morning, pre-dawn. By EOD Monday, we could have 4in rain. 40mph winds will be the big concern. Coastal communities are prepping for heavy surf. Full moon won't be helpful.

I hope to get a walk in, this morning.

Our new window blinds, 13 including a slider, are scheduled for tomorrow morning. I'll be moving stuff so window access is possible.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 64⁰/72⁰ cloudy. Finally off for a day. Got N a small tractor job to do, grind a stump and clean up some brush. Not sure about the rest of the day.

Morning all. Dark outside as I am up early. Work again today.

full moon last night on the way home from prayer meeting. Our day started sunny, had rain showers off and on and ended up clear again. Chilly nights.

Raining...again. Almost didn't recognize that yellow thing in the sky I saw for a few minutes yesterday

Hope to sneak out Saturday and get a load of silver maple for next year's shoulder season.

Good morning, members.

Bright moon shining. 50⁰/65⁰ sunny to start. Breezy getting stronger.

Day 1 of the Coastal storm. Mostly gusty winds will affect us. The shoreline will be taking a beating. Rain to start after sunset.

I'll be looking around the yard for anything that could take flight. Need to batten the hatches.

The blind installers are scheduled for 10am. I understand they get around with the assistance of service dogs.

The road construction crew finished up early yesterday. It'll be interesting to see if they show up today, given the storm.

I'll be picking up fallen branches and place them in the kindling/stick bucket. We've been having morning fires.

Have to haul some lumber for a fella this morning, afterwards we've got to get the auction stuff under cover so it doesn't rain.

Morning all. Cloudy outside. Not sure what the weather will be today.

No moon last night as it was heavy overcast. Coming back from Bible study, we come around a corner and there was a huge Roosevelt elk with a huge set of antlers standing in the centre of the road. He must have weighed about 1500 lbs. He slowly crossed the road and I didn't get a picture. There is a herd of them in the area that show up on the roads occasionally.

Busy day today.

Sawdust Man the shop looks great. I like the colour of the siding.
