    Speaking of apples, they are in season here.
    We were going to go picking this past weekend but time ran out.
    Planning on doing some pie filling to use for the holiday season.

    What I make I refer to it as jauce. Between juice and saucr. I core, hot water then peel the skins, put them in a blender. Bring to a boil, cook for 30 minutes, water bath. We use it to cook stuffed peppers, in chili, or vegetable soup.
