Well, one of the big dump trucks on site, rolled over about a mile down the road. Took out a utility pole. Driver ok. Our power flickered a few times, all well. Cable/internet just got back after a 22hr outage. They're back at it today.
They are focused on drainage. Replacing storm drains and such. Our French drain outlet was found. Near the yellow tape I was just told that they'll tie the end into their drain going all along the front of the house.
At least they aren't working all night and on weekends. It must be noisy during the day. Do you have back access to your property?
Lots of beeping, excavators scraping rocks...etc. they've been finishing by 3pm We only have the one driveway to get up to the house. I have multiple options for alternate daytime parking. The driveway will be dug up at some point.
Road crew left these trenches filled with gravel/dirt, overnight. Sounds like thunder when trucks rumble through.
I was talking with one of the operators, and was told a retention pond, of sorts, is going across the road from us. The road is pitched towards us. No idea what advantage there is with a retention pond, but maybe the roads pitch is too change. Some of the exposed roots on our side of the road. I doubt there'll be much impact to our trees.
