So I was able to get a little bit of splitting done this afternoon. :axe: I am trying the DIY wood racks on gray blocks,. The rack is holding up good, and I was able to fill it up to the top just before dark. I think this is going to work pretty good for me. I currently have about 230 linear feet along a fence line, but I need to figure out what to do with this remaining wood until I get a woodshed built. Woodshed hopefully will come sometime next year. Also got to make a couple of cuts with my new DOLMAR PS 421.:saw: I know ... I know.. Pics or it didn't happen

Yes, they are both under warranty so they are still stock... I love the 362... Cuts awesome! However my previous experience was only with craftsman/poulan 40 cc's. Only made a couple cuts with the 421, but it was smooth as could be. I feel like these two are going to last me a long time!

How did it feel to run the 362 the first time? Does it still bring a smile to your face like my 361 does? I can't get enough of it! Perfect size saw IMO, not to heavy and powerful enough to tackle most trees!

It sure does... to go from dogging a cheapo to get through some wood, to the 362 just pulling itself through is the cat's meow! I agree with you about being the perfect size. It is more than enough saw for any size trees that I am comfortable taking down. I am fortunate that my wife has allowed me to accumulate some good quality stuff here recently. We have a little one on the way so I know I won't be getting anymore new stuff afterwards for a while.

Good for you. I have three young ones. My MS 290 Farm Boss is getting the job done. It's almost getting time to start cutting for 15/16! Yeaaaaaaaaaa!

Yeah, the cool weather is bringing the itch to get out there and throw some chips. I thought it was time to cut for the 14/15 season...

Yea, if you went from a craftsman to a 362 Mtronic then oh boy there should have been a big O smile...:D

    Looks good! Keep it up...
