Hello all
It's been a ho hum summer with Hot off and on
September has taken an unexpected turn weather wise and it is "Stove season"
Aug 31st and the AC came on a few times late in the day and then Sept 1st we turned cool and showery.
Fired up the little stove to take the chill off by mid day and then we were able to get through until morning on the 2nd....Another spot fire in the morning and then again late afternoon until bed time.
Yesterday was another story.
Fire in the morning and then a shutdown to clean out the stove (Had not been touched since June)

Serviced the stove and then built the fire back up late afternoon and ran it all night.

TYPICAL PNW Weather......Cold and wet, then wham...HOT AND DRY
Exact opposite going back into fall......HOT AND DRY....BLAM....Cool and wet....
We are expecting a return to some late summer weather next week with 70's F and clear skies.

I need to get the big stove prepped for the long cold and damp thats coming..
