My log guy called again and I just couldn’t say no. Everything to the left of my finger is part of the new delivery. Think I need to reset my goals haha.
Cut 35 logs between yesterday and today. Temps hit the low 90's each day with dew points right around 80. Pretty disgusting weather to be working in but it's gotta get done. Most logs were in the 16-24 foot long range so it made for a lot of rounds. Didn't take any pictures though because you can't really see much of a difference in the log pile.
Different angle than previous picture but there’s 85 less logs in it now. Have cut 15 days in a row now with some of them being as many as 6-7 hour days and I have to admit, I’m tired. Have a couple days off coming up this weekend though.
Have made good progress on the log pile. I do think there’s a chance I could get this all cut up before going back to school. Last picture is the fresh oak splits from the last 4 weeks.
Only about 65 logs left from that giant pile. Have about 40 oaks and 25 mixed hardwood logs. Cut up all of the cherry there was this morning.
Thankfully though I still have this pile of logs to work through. I will probably hit it for 4-5 hours tomorrow and then it’s back to school come Monday so it will all slow way down.
Wow, you sure got a lot accomplished. Good job, my friend. I'm kinda glad school is starting so you can rest a bit.
