I try to put down a layer of heavy cardboard from appliance boxes, etc. underneath my tarps. That helps a whole lot because it prevents sharp corners from poking holes, and also helps eliminate low spots that pool water. Hunting good, big cardboard is a whole 'nother scrounging process, though!
Im ready to leave the woodyard when my friend comes home. He tells me about a free wheelbarrow roadside just up the street. Stopped and grabbed it. Two wheeler with a yellow tub. 6 cubic feet IINM. Tub is cracked a bit so I'll "stitch" it together with some zip ties. The Wood Wolverine had a term for this repair. Tires were low on air but looked in good condition. Same model from post #38 pictured here.
