Still remember the price for a brick of Winchester Wildcats from when I first got going into shooting. Neighborhood gunstore had a note from my mom (no really) kept under cash register drawer. $7.25/500
I use military ammo cans for most of my shotgun ammo. Those old Holiday ammo boxes with the Les Kouba art are highly collectable around here. I like the Whitetail deer edition box but don’t have one. The Holiday and Winchester boxes in my collection are from my Father-in-law. They were likely purchased sometime in early to mid 70s after his tour in Viet Nam. The Federal are from my high school years (78-82).
For any interested Winchester has some commemorative ammo packaging out right now. They have rimfire and centerfire also.
I will remember back in the 70's when holiday had their annual fall hunting sale. Highly anticipated and eagerly awaited. They also used to sell rifles and shotguns displayed openly.
