Answered a post of facebook about free wood. Piles of logs, rounds and stacks of splits. All for free. Some of the rounds have sat too long and are junk but I told the woman I would take everything to help clean up the property. Have hauled out one 2 cord dump truck load of rounds which got split and stacked for my sons firewood stand, one 1.5 cord dump truck load of rounds which are only good enough for my wood boiler, and one 2 cord load of 3+ year seasoned splits also bound for my sons firewood stand. Probably have about 4 more cords of rounds which (mostly good) and 2.5-3 cords of the seasoned splits.

    Nice score!

How much junk wood did you have to move?

A lot of work, but definitely worth a "you suck" award. Good job as always and I hope you could drive right up to it.

Driving right up to wood is the only way and it really isn’t that much work.

jrider with the score of the weekend

Not the month because the amount of time driving to collect the wood was not mentioned

and no 2 cord truck is good on fuel!!

6 minutes from my house but yeah 8.5-9 miles per gallon. I don’t bother with long distance scores.

Thats a great find. Nice to have that two cord truck.

Wonder what the story behind it is? Selling house? Divorce? Husband passed away?

Imagine that...people riding around on bicycles that go 50 mph switching for sidewalk to street and obeying no other traffic laws!

I don't know who was at fault, but around here bicyclists don't go out of there way to make it easy for cars to avoid them. Riding 2 abreast, etc.
