    Ordered some cellular blinds yesterday. These have free shipping and what sounds like a great return policy-in case any are damaged in shipping.

    Still waiting on the returned blinds credit that were damaged in shipping......and waiting. :picard:

    Morning all. started out quite foggy but is clearing up quickly to a sunny day. Possibility of rain.

    Chores, bookkeeping, house cleaning, grocery shopping etc. today. Always something to do.
    Went back over to Mom's yesterday and replaced the batteries in her chair/stair lift. Not as hard as I thought it would be. Fortunately it had stalled out at the bottom of the stairs so I was able to work all around it.

    MikeInMa Kryptonite didn't work yesterday. Maybe next time.

    good morning. Hopefully the rain is done in Indiana. A lot of flooding happening. The tree farm bridge once again needed replacing. I helped one afternoon, but he is a little nuts on doing things- moving boards from one side of the trailer, to immediately take unload to stack on the ground; BUT, the short time on that side of the trailer- he wanted them stacked square.
    Done with that lunacy.

    Yesterday dentist visit, found a filling missing and a need for an additional filling. Back again next week.

    Not sure what is happening today, other than waiting for the sunrise. Make it a good one today!

    The package I ordered last week is still floating around in limbo somewhere and the greeting card we sent out last week to the L.P. remains to be delivered.....:headbang:

    USPS delivery service needs to be overhauled!

    Missed a few days......been sawing lumber in the mornings to beat (some) of the heat.

    74/101 horrible.........just horrible.

    Planning on bakin' our brains at an auction today......should be perfectly miserable, I recon.

    Morning all. Foggy again this morning. Should clear off sometime later. Yesterday was rather warm until the westerly came up in the late afternoon.

    If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8

    How do we live our lives? Does Jesus shine through our speech, our behaviour, and everything we do? Yes, we are sinful humans but with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can transform our lives and be a living example of the Jesus way. Paul said, Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 Hold on to that promise today and let Jesus shine through you.

    Good morning, ya'll. Barely made it before noon. Already hot, split a little wood early this morning and got ot stacked. Got cleaned up and came to a funeral, one of our customers had a 17 yr old son that took his life last week. Such a tragedy, I met him a couple times when they came to pick up wood. Afterwards, we're making a Sam's Club run and probably late lunch/early dinner.
    Hug your loved ones and tell them they matter.

    What a day yesterday, our plans changed for the good. A coworker gave my # to a guy that was looking for some logs. He called and was very interested in the pines we cut in the spring. He met us with his long flat bed, we sorted out the piles...

    The guy wants to come when we cut more trees, and get them too. He gave me a big compliment, said I was one of the fastest and smoothest loaders he had been around. Said it was nice to work with someone who knew how to laod a trailer and he didn't have to say where to pt each log...:):):thumbs::handshake:
