Maybe, maybe not. Hard to tell since every realtor will tell you not to put anything on there when staging and absolutely don't have clothes out. If this is an airbnb, then that goes double.

Hey, I have plastic hangers that are decades old as well as Walmart clothing hangers from shirts.

I like plastic hangers , especially if they are the really beefy ones for motorcycle and snowmobile jackets. Eventually most hangers fail, unless they are the really nice wood ones.

Myself, I refuse to use plastic hangers since they just aren't strong enough for my heavy weight flannels, wool clothing, riding leathers-when I had them, winter clothing and on and on. (I won't double or triple them up)

I'm glad they work for those who choose to use them.

That may very well be, but unless she can string them all along in an unbroken sentence, she hasn't been paying attention!

Well dad's GF is out of the hospital with some metal in her ankle. Her surgeon was a former premier of NL who gave up politics and returned to the medical profession. That's kinda cool.

Huh, I used plastic hanger for my riding jacket. It's about 10# - a George Dyer men's heavy, double layer coat with leather vest (old school from the early 2000s, when they used heavier leather than what they use today). The metal ones just bend, droop and then start dropping what they are supposed to be holding. I did have to chose the more beefy ones I had though. The ones that came with clothes that I bought certainly wouldn't handle those things.

Wooden hangers with metal hooks for the heavy stuff here.....including my riding leathers; even the metal ones would become fatigued.

But plastic hangers always seem to bend at the hook for me. I guess she buys the cheap ones?

These are the kind I'm talking about. They'll hold up heavy fully armored motorcycle leathers. Screenshot_20260810-111937.png

No metal to bend. It is solid thru and thru and probably 1/2" diameter. This hanger has got to be 25-30 years old and I can't kill it. Not sure where I got - maybe it came with the leather jacket when I bought it at their booth during Bike Week (I think, it might have been at the Keene Swap Meet). I bought the jacket in the late 90's or early 2000's.

Yep, those are the ones I despise!

    Not worth anything to me.

I spose it depends just what they are molded from but you can have every one of them!
