When I was on the True Value Hardware account, I was driving through Libby, MT every week, I got a chuckle out of this what could possibly go wrong Hey Bubba, Hold my Beer Actually, I worked with a lot of Great people in NW MT, but I know how a lot of low information gun grabber types would stereotype that region. Lot of Beautiful country in addition to the Great people around there, hoping to go back someday when it isn’t for work, and I have time to actually stop and see it at less than 65mph Doug
Picture of my boat on the left and my friends boat from last weekend. It's October now, but the lake isn't acting like it. It feels like late June our there. I'll turn 250 hours on the boat tomorrow. 249.6 in the driveway tonight.
Got the boat all set mechanically for the season. My wife and I are going out tomorrow and a friend will be out with his boat. It's supposed to be 84° tomorrow. Today was about 80° at the peak, and that's closer to lake Michigan, whereas the late we go to is inland and usually a few degrees warmer. The lake will be a little chilly and my wife can't go in the water anyways until her wound heals a little more. My buddy's boat is the supra in the picture by my boat in the post above this. I did all the mechanical stuff today and vacuumed it out. We'll bring cleaning supplies with us out on the lake.
Just got back from our 4 day trip to Door county WI on lake Michigan. We already booked our condo for next year. This was year 2 with this 2 boat crew. The we had tons of fun. Great food, great company, and lots of laughs. Our friends got us personalized cups. Here's mine My Larson 248LXI and our friends four winns HD5 at the slip after a sunset cruise yesterday.
Great pics man, in my youth, I had a bigger boat, 27 front V and aft cabin, I was only one with a head, galley and 2 blenders (generator) and grill on swim platform .. yes the girls on the open bow riders ended up on my boat
Taking a half day and getting out today on the lake. Tomorrow as well. Sunday might be stormy so that might be a stay at home and get other stuff done day.
Today was an excellent day on the lake. All of our friends and some new ones were out on the lake. Temperature was perfect, both air and water temp.
