Wife and I decided we need more storage space so we bought a new shed. It should be here in the next month or so. Yesterday, the gravel pad was put in. 4X6's for the perimeter with a weed barrier under the gravel. We are getting an 8X12 building. Pics of the shed will follow when the shed is delivered. Pic's are 1.4MB in size.
Nice job on the pad. Getting a firm, level spot to put a shed is half the work. You're off to a good start!
For full disclosure, I did not do the work. I hired it done. It is nice when you can get someone who knows what they are doing. All I had to do was make sure he had plenty of cold water to drink and pay the bill when he was done. One guy did it all in less than 8 hours
It will primarily be used by my wife. She wants space for her gardening and decorating stuff so she doesn't have to climb over a generator and or snow blower to get to her stuff. We also have some things we have in another shed we will be taking down. That one is falling apart. I have a pole barn for my wood shed.
Our new shed arrived last Monday. It was interesting to see how one guy unloaded it and moved it into position. All we have to do now is fill it up
I have enough extra crap that I could have it full before the delivery truck made it to the end of the driveway
