markbuck1.jpg markbuck2.jpg markbuck3.jpg A friend sent me these pictures of a Black tail buck that has been hanging around his house and backyard shop/garage. I asked him (jokingly of course) "does he go anywhere near your freezer"? He replied "So near yet so far"!

Seen one like that yesterday across the street from the house I bought at auction. He was "hiding" by a bush eating away in the front yard. It is amazing how close they are coming in, this is a residential neighborhood of 1/4 acre lots.

    I don't have any pictures...the thread title...

Circa 1998 there was a Big Boy at one of our interstate on/off ramps that had closed and been sitting rundown. Some friends of mine thought it might be nice to steal the mascot from the lot, so they did. Unbolted it and hauled it in back of a ford pickup to one of their trailers a few miles away. They were very proud of their accomplishment for a little while until...lol...'what do we do with it now?' It was plastic/fiberglass and quite large. They decided to put it behind the trailer. Problem: You could still see the hamburger sticking up from the elevated position of the road that went past his place. I wasn't there for the abduction nor for the disposal (not really sure what they did with it, not asking keeps plausable immunity), but I had driven by once while it was there and sure enough...hamburger! LMFAO We had a lot of fun in the late 90s and nobody really got butt hurt over it.

It was at least this big, possibly bigger. "big boy in back yard"

    Apologies...carry on!

Someone locally has a Big Boy, sans hamburger...its been out front of their business, on a busy road, for many moons now.

When I saw the title I thought it was referring to the Big Boy train engine that just went across the country n back...I think its home is out west there somewhere, so it made sense to me. Boy was I surprised to see a pic of a "moose"

My cousin lives in Mt Juliet, TN about 30 minutes outside Nashville, in a big, crowded subdivision. He sent me these pictures a couple years ago...
