    That is weird. Most of the birds, as either female or juvenile have some sort of stripping/pattern on them.

    I think you are right with female cowbird.

    My wife loves watching the hummers, she has a ton of them trained to visit her feeders every day. This one is always on the roost when I leave home from work in the early AM, being greedy and guarding the feeder on the front porch from his relatives lol....

    I saw these chainsaw birdhouses on Facebook Marketplace for $45. Pretty good idea and design.

    Almost looks like a vulture! I've seen one like than here. Also have seen blue Jays like that.

    I caught myself admiring your shed and stacks! Very nice there! :yes:

    Pileated Woodpecker at the suet yesterday morning. Sorry not the best picture. Been a while since I have seen any around here at home. They sure can scold when they are irritated at you!
