You don’t wrap the separate pieces in silk? Heathen It’s the only wood I separate. In my area it doesn’t just come to you it must be hunted. For that it gets a special home.
I have 2 face cords of BL. Half of one is good to go for '26-'27. I use it strictly for overnight burns, mixed with RO. Easy relight in the morning. I'm usually home when the woodstove is lit. So I'll be burning a higher percentage of Ash this season. Some of it is past prime, but will burn just fine.

First year I have ever stacked the next year pile. leanto holds 17 cords and I believe the next year pile is at 21.5, I have one more pick up load of BL to get next week, and then see if I get any arborist calls
