Lost half the flock

    We have the same problem, lots of raccoons and foxes. I need to set some traps.

    Foxes will kill for fun and sport, they will take a whole flock (I lost 13 in a day) and leave 11 out in the sun to rot

    Well, we are now down to”0” layers. Something got the last two yesterday and there will be no more chickens here….layers or meat birds. Enjoyed it (wife mostly:rofl: :lol:) but it just wasn’t worth the time and effort anymore. Only animals are 3 outdoors cats and one old dog, two old dogs if you count me!
