    Good morning, members.

Another nice Autumn day! 56⁰/80⁰ low humidity.

I'm planning to get my morning walk in today.

We're having preventive maintenance done in both the AC and oil furnace. It's been a number of years since having either done.

    Be safe

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a great couple days and a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Site was all wonky for a couple days, maybe it will last till I get a post in...lol.
I took this past weekend off, a friend that I worked with for 20 yrs came back from Ala. His mom and dad had been living with them, his dad passed Tuesday night, had his services Saturday and Sunday. Did grind a few more stumps in our son's yard yesterday morning and been cutting grass. Working 6PM-6AM shift tonight, then off next 3 days. Maybe we can visit the woodyard this morning.

    Good morning, members.

Summer air has returned. 68⁰/82⁰ currently foggy. Rising
    dewpoint.

Showers later today, with downpours beginning late tonight.

I'll need to assess my morning walk, given the fog.

I have a couple of errands to run.

Well, it appears we have the forum for a few more days.

Mike, I agree with you when you had those cool nights. We also had them and they will come again soon. It is common to have some chilly nights usually starting the second half of August.

Going to a Class of '60 reunion today.

    Good morning, members.

    Soggy day. 68⁰/72⁰ overcast muggy

Off/on downpours throughout the day. We're now in a flood watch. Being on a hill is a good thing. Happy to get whatever falls our way.

I plan to get a morning walk in before it starts raining.

    Lunch with a friend.

We surely did not get much rain. Not even rnough to settle the dust. Yesterday I saw several corn fields that were almost completely brown and it is not because they are ripe. Sad to see. Lawns are all brown too. Well, at least folks aren't buying gas and oil for their lawn mowers.

Backwoods Savage It is just the opposite here. Corn fields are doing very well. Stalks are high and beautiful. I have seen a bit of yellowing on some of the lower leaves, but that is normal this time of year. We were lucky to have gotten good amounts of rain at the right time. Beans are looking good too.

Hi all. We are enjoying camp meeting. Internet is spotty and glitchy so I haven't been on much. Busy with dogs, meetings and camping. Getting use to the new trailer. Found out it has a winter package with the capability to keep the water, sewer and grey tanks heated. I don't think we will ever be using that feature. Brrrrr!

I hope everyone is having a great week.

    Good morning, members.

Another rainy day. 63⁰/67⁰ overcast. Light rain forecasted for the day.

Nothing on the to-do list. Maybe spend some time in the basement putting stuff where it belongs.

Sun isnt up yet, but good morning all. District Forester called to do a spot inventory at the tree farm. They do this to assess the status or health of private woodland or possibly post harvest rebounding- i didnt ask.

my brother is there now repairing our driveway entrance which gets deluded with watershed during storms. He plans to dig the area out and put in a yard of concrete so the water will run over it.

Been too hot to do anything remotely related to firewood. As the day begins to come, i will have coffee on by patio and watch the numerous bats flying about. For reason they like feedin* around the house.
