The problem is high-quality pictures take up a lot of space. Space costs $$$ and affects database and web server performance. I'm only a member of one other forum (I'm sure you can guess which one) and they seem to automagically resize your photos when you upload them. And when you post them, they don't post full size either. Personally, I'd rather see the site be up all of the time vs being able to post full pics. JMHO of course.
I think it's time for a F250 or SRW F350. Every time I have the truck out I'm way overloaded anymore. This is loaded a lot more evenly than it looks. The pallet on the tail is WAY heavier than the ones one the nose.
Exactly why I upgraded to a Superduty...I was a lil worried about MPG, but the SD does about the same (or a bit better) as the F150 5.0V8 did, and has more power (205 vs 260)
I don't get the truck out of the barn except to do "truck stuff" so gas mileage doesn't really matter to me. I'll probably get better MPG when I'm loaded with a HD truck. My F150 has a 4.6 and 3.31 gears so it is maximum effort with a 10K trailer. I imagine a gas 7.3 and 3.73 will not even care about 10K.
We take a 24' enclosed trailer down to TX from OH to go hog hunting every year. It's probably between 8 - 10k as guess since I don't know the exact weight of the trailer itself. My buddies drove it down to TX with a F-250 with a 7.3 this year and they said it pulled it fine. Normally take a diesel dually and they said this year was the least we ever spent on fuel (gas or diesel) to get there too. My next truck will be a one ton SRW gasser. The new diesel's have way too much stuff to break on them for me.
A farmer friends' motto. "Don't worry about the mule, just load the wagon". Of course, you need to know the limits of both the mule, and the wagon.
Finally , Thank God !!!! Back in business ! Well , the pic wont load . A , my end of the cell service problem . Anyway I finally got my 09, F550 in the woods . Had more than 2.5 cord on Thursday
