Found it! Yep, a dead mouse. In a small cardboard box I use for my shoes, (have to switch shoes a few times a day). Just got my heel on a chicken poop while feeding them, ewww, went of a new pair of shoes and the odor hit me.

Finished the last of my soffit installation last night. I fabricated the soffit myself and drilled all the ventilation holes. I haven't yet calculated to guesstimate how many holes there are around the house.

Fixing more rough openings here today. Had to bring in the big porter cable router with a 2 inch cutting bit. Lots of sawdust here today

Advice easily taken. I generally don't buy anything at home depot.

Twice this week I've unknowingly been within inches of a fully loaded giant wasp nests and didn't get stung, then found them later on. I couldn't find my wasp spray this morning, but brake parts cleaner works even better at close range.

Dad bought this today, but it'll live with me and be available for me to use pretty much anytime unless he takes it hunting. I'm meeting him tomorrow to pick it up.

Quad is home. Came up with an inventive way to get it on the ground.

I have to laugh at the second picture vs the first. Not hard to tell which truck is stronger...

Whatever works! Reminds me once we need to load a small dozer and ended up flattening a small sawdust pile. Drove dozer up then backed a stake truck up to it. Worked like a charm. I wish I had a picture of that but that was over 60 years ago and I no longer have many old pictures.
