Picked up a like new Stihl 261 with 2 18” chains and a 1/2 gallon of premix for $450 today. Pretty sure only the 1/2 gallon of premix has been run through the saw. CAD won on this deal as I already have 2 50 cc saws so not much use for another one. Now I just need more time to run more saws!
Its sooooooo hard to say no to a good deal on a saw when it comes along...especially a Stihl. The price of a new 261 has gone up quite a bit over the last few years. The extras help sweeten the deal for sure. I almost pulled the trigger on a nice top handle MS200 recently. Very clean for a good price. I really don't "need" a third top handle though.
It's been a known issue for awhile now. Well I guess it's not a "problem", it's the new normal. Haven't heard a specific number but from what I've seen, pictures have to be under 2MB.
