A bolt action is way quieter than a 10/22. Those things make some racket when suppressed. You can definitely tell the difference on a bolt gun because there is no action noise.

For sure. I wasn't expecting anything different....just saying quieter ammo on that gun wouldn't matter.

I got a box of 970 for my bolt gun and the hammer falling is the loudest part of the shot.

Amen to that. 22lr round count a few years back. Increased slightly since if anything. If you think the shortage during '14-16 pizzed off/motivated me, you would be correct.

I need to make or get a hollow point maker. I have a lot of solid point rounds on hand but I need hp.

I have never longed for one. (the idea of modifying lead bullets was given to me by the movie The Bear) But if I needed one I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Paco based on recco from Jeff Quinn, RIP.

Finally went and picked up the Element 3 yesterday after work. Happy to have one as AAC seems to be going through yet another existential crisis of identity and has stopped making them. I now have three of their units and would probably have bought more, given time. My first one came with a nice nylon pouch. Second came with a little silky bag. This one came with a sticker. lol I found pouches on fleabay for both.
