Tasty looking stuff there guys. Too hot here to even grill. Im almost out of smoked cheese so I might give it a go tomorrow as it'll be cooler.

Kevin shouldve warned me about how addictive smoked cheese is. This will be my fourth batch since early March!

Yes, it's a grill. Way too hot for the gas grill.

The cheese is on. Local supermarket had a special so it topped off my stash to smoke. Nine pounds worth of sharp cheddar cut into 4oz blocks. Cloudy and a lot cooler so an ideal Summer day for it. Using the apple saw dust method again. Works like a charm as smoke is pouring out. I may not have enough ice though.

Very carefully! :D I placed an ice cube with a stick on the grate and made a smokesicle!
Melts in your mouth!
To those unfamiliar with a cold smoke you use ice to keep the cheese/food at ambient temperature (or as close to it as possible) as you as flavoring it with the smoke, not cooking as with a normal smoking.

Halfway there and ready to be flipped. Getting a good dark color.

While hanging out with buzz-saw today working on my hydro he had his smoker going so I decided to fire up mine. Bought a six pack of turkey sausage yesterday. Its choochin with some hickory.

Hoping him and I don't get in trouble for contributing to the smoky haze.

Looks tasty as always Mike. How do the wedges come out in the air fryer? We've thought of getting one.

Russet tater wedges. Tossed in a bowl with a little olive oil. I dusted them in ranch dressing mix/powder.

10min @350. Move them around. Another dusting with powder. Another 10min @ 350⁰

They come out like baked potato wedges, without heating the larger oven.

We have a Cuisinart that's also used as a toaster. Same footprint as a toaster oven, which we had counter space for.

We are somewhat limited with counter space. No toaster oven. Toaster, I use mostly comes out of the cabinet 4-5 days weekly mostly for breakfast.

Is that turkey sausage? What I cook when I smoke. One piece left from Thursday which I'll have for breakfast on a bagel. Thinking I'll do a double batch next time now that I've kinda got it down to a science.

When was the last time you used yours?

    Apple sausage from central PA.

The air fryer/toaster gets used multiple times a week. Yesterday was an English muffin.

Haven't fired that up in quite some time. Might be time to do up a pork butt!

Air fryers are quite the kitchen tool, and we'll worth having. They're awesome.for reheating things like pizza, egg rolls, fried chicken and such. I use one at work to reheat pieces of Sams club rotisserie chicken...crisps up the skin nicely. Ill mix up different bbq type sauces and slather on in the last 5 min or so...it sets the sauce nicely into a glaze.

The one at home is toaster oven style...the one at work basket style. Not sure which I like the best...

We have the same one as you Mike. I bought it a while back when I saw this thread , our old toaster oven took a dive and the Cusinart was on sale.
This has worked out great for us.
