I was at my Stihl/Husqvarna Dealer this afternoon grabbing some parts. They had a 564XP in stock, so I held it, that's a really nice feeling saw!

They didn't have prices on any of their new saws, just their used ones. I'm not in the market for a new saw right now so I didn't bother to ask. I'll ask the next time I stop by though.

I’ve never owned a Husky, always been a Stihl guy, recently added a few Echo saws. I’d be up for trying one.

Same here, though no Echos owned or used. I've come close to buying an Echo 4910 as it has a cult following.

It's been a minute since I've been on the forum. Despite some of the initial growing pains (filter and hot start issue), I ordered a 564XP two days ago from HL Supply. Surprisingly, they had them in stock and and I opted for the 5 year warranty. They were one of the only places I could find that had them in stock. Acme Tools has them in stock but their online store doesn't allow for the warranty extension. It also comes with new Husqvarna software that is supposed to help the hot start issue. I'm thinking the solution is a richer mapping.

Semi local to me Home Depot still has at least one. I think they are getting pretty scarce now and the new model is taking over. Be sure to get the A2 designs filter upgrade.

So, has anyone bought and done an amount of cutting with the 564 yet ??
Wondering if the have the small Husky mount or the double 0 nine bar mount size .
How well does it cut with a 28" bar ?
How thirsty is it ? Ect .
I'm very close to buying a 620 DW Echo for my next saw . 7 Bengys are easier to convince my business partner (wife) on than 10 dead presidents . A boiler wood customer got one on my reccomendation . I was the first person to start it and cut with it . I was very pleased . The only thing I dont like is no heated handle and carb . I think a 572XPGW AND an Echo 620DW are in my future
